“Let us be protectors of creation, protectors of God’s plan inscribed in nature, protectors of one another and of the environment.” – Pope Francis.

‘LAUDATO SI’, mi’ Signore’ – ‘Praise be to you, my Lord’ - Laudato Si Encyclical.

The Archdiocesan Creation Justice Ministry, believes that everyone’s involvement and effort is required to care for our common home. With a spirit of inclusiveness and the Laudato si Encyclical as its reference the Ministry strives to bring everyone across all ages and faith groups together, by encouraging all to take small steps daily.

From responding to the cry of the environment to the cry of the poor to taking baby steps towards decarbonisation and promoting the use of public transport, the Ministry organizes regular activities giving everyone an opportunity to make a contribution for the care of creation.

“All of us can cooperate as instruments of God for the care of creation, each according to his or her own culture, experience, involvements and talents” (LS #14).

“Because all creatures are connected, each must be cherished with love and respect, for all of us as living creatures are dependent on one another” (#42).
