World Environment Day (May 24 - June 5)
Mask Challenge

#BeatAirPollution: 9 out of 10 people breathe polluted air which kills 7 million people a year. The theme for World Environment Day 2019 is Beat Air Pollution. Vehicle emissions cause 400,000 deaths/yr. Livestock emit methane which contributes to ground level ozone which causes asthma and other respiratory diseases. Coal-burning power plants, diesel generators, and open waste burning release huge amounts of air pollutants. Cut down petrol and electricity usage. Eat less meat and dairy. Reduce and compost food waste. Recycle. Use non-toxic paint.
