The Parish Integral Human Development Ministry (PIHDM) has been set up in many churches within the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur in order to meet the needs of the people. The objective of this ministry is to study and promote the issues of Charity, Integral Human Development, Justice-Peace, Social and Community for all peoples and creation in the light of the Catholic Social Teaching (CST) imbued with the spirit of the Gospel. Apart from this, the ministries are to initiate projects according to the needs, to coordinate / collaborate with various ministries and parishes, to establish relevant structures, to network with various government / non-government agencies, to facilitate / implement programs to help parishioners understand CST and other programs and activities.
